Two Large Open MMI Uranium Anomalies Identified, 25 July 2007.

...Badja Uranium Project, which is calcrete hosted uranium mineralization, in a 30km long by 2km wide channel, located within weathering granitic and mafic terrains near Yalgoo, 600km north of Perth.  MMI soil samples were very widely spaced and taken on a 400m lines at 400m intervals.  The MMI target in Area 4 has uranium anomalies up to 23,600ppb, the highest recorded to date by the MMI technique.  The contours of anomalous uranium (3000ppb level) appear to indicate a chemical trap site ideal for carnotite style uranium near where the calcrete is underlain by mafic...

MMI - Mapping Unique Lithologies and Changes in Bulk Chemical Composition in Overburden Covered Terrain; Dr Mark Fedikow
Published in: The Prospector, 2007: Mobilizing Your Ions - "More Proof In the Overburden"-Mapping Unique Lithologies and Monitoring Bulk Chemical Composition of Bedrock; Volume 17, Number 1.

...Since these alteration systems are almost always larger than the mineralized target the constituent elements in these protocols can be utilized to vector into the metal-bearing system and result in focused exploration and reduced conventional (diamond drilling) exploration expenditures...
