Aurizon Mines Ltd. - Two New Gold Mineralization Discoveries on the Joanna Project - June 1, 2009
Aurizon Mines Ltd. is pleased to report the discovery of two new mineralized trends, respectively north and south of the Heva-Hosco gold bearing trend, at its Joanna project, located 20 kilometres east of Rouyn-Noranda, in north-western Quebec. Highlights include 6.8 grams of gold per tonne over 3 metres intersected approximately 1 kilometre north of the Cadillac Fault mineralized system (the “Joanna North”); and 3.0 grams of gold per tonne over 4.6 metres intersected 300 metres south of the Cadillac Fault, (the “Joanna South”).
The Joanna North trend is located 1 kilometre north of the Cadillac Fault, on the western side of the property. A mobile metal ion (MMI) soil survey performed by Aurizon on a poorly defined magnetic contrast lead to the identification of a 700 metre long, multi-element (arsenic, gold, molybdenum, tungsten, antimony) anomaly.

Golden Chalice Resources Inc. – Golden Chalice Resources Provides Exploration Update on Langmuir Nickel Project
Golden Chalice Resources (the "Company") is pleased to provide an exploration update for its flagship Langmuir Nickel Project, 35 km southeast of Timmins, Ontario. The wholly owned Langmuir Property covers more than 30 kilometers of favorable stratigraphy with potential for hosting Kambalda-style deposits, and encompasses more than 20 clusters of VTEM anomalies that are yet to be adequately drill-tested. MMI geochemical surveys are planned for these areas in order to help find new deposits.
The 2009 drilling program conducted by the Company discovered nickel mineralization approximately 1.5 kilometers east of the W4 Deposit. The W2 Discovery was initially drilled to follow-up combined VTEM conductors and strong MMI nickel anomalies. A third discovery, the W3 VTEM target, occurs about 500 meters east of the W4 Deposit.

Adroit Resources Inc. – Red Vein Soil Results and Expropriation Compensation Trial Completion
Management is pleased to announce that the preliminary results have been received from two phases of soil geochemical surveys on Adroit Resources Inc.’s wholly owned, 3,392 Ha, Red Vein property, located 80 kilometres south of Timmins, Ontario.
Reconnaissance Mobile Metal Ions (MMI) soil sampling was carried out during the 2008 summer exploration season on two different areas of the Red Vein property. The survey areas are located approximately 10km south-east of the former Tyranite Gold Mine and 8 km south of the Sothman nickel deposit.

Vangold Resources Announces Kafunjo Project Still Very Much Alive
“The MMI technology is really quite remarkable”, says Danae A. Voormeij, P. Geo and VP Exploration for Vangold. “The preliminary data set from Kafunjo presents clear and distinct peaks in geochemistry, which are indicative of a layered ultramafic intrusive buried at depth, potentially containing economic mineralization of nickel and copper sulfides.”

Northern Gold’s Diamond Drilling Results on Frederick House Lake Property
Northern Gold Mining flew a 361 line km airborne VTEM survey over Frederick House Lake and collected 1,565 MMI geochemical samples from the lake bottom sediments to define drilling targets. The MMI survey outlined two large areas of anomalous gold values.

Uranium, Iron, and Lead Anomalism at Jigalong Project, 25 July 2007.
Mobile Metal Ion (MMI) soil sampling has: reinforced the multi-element potential of the Jigalong Project; confirmed significant calcrete-hosted uranium anomalism; identified further extensions to the iron hosting Marra Mamba Formation; and returned significant base metal indications . . .

Two Large Open MMI Uranium Anomalies Identified, 25 July 2007.
Badja Uranium Project, which is calcrete hosted uranium mineralization, in a 30km long by 2km wide channel, located within weathering granitic and mafic terrains near Yalgoo, 600km north of Perth. MMI soil samples were very widely spaced and taken on a 400m lines at 400m intervals. The MMI target in Area 4 has uranium anomalies up to 23,600ppb, the highest recorded to date by the MMI technique. The contours of anomalous uranium (3000ppb level) appear to indicate a chemical trap site ideal for carnotite style uranium near where the calcrete is underlain by mafic . . .
