Client Submitted Standards


In response to the rules and regulations that govern the release of exploration and ore reserve data to the public as stated in the National Instrument 43-101, SGS has documented policies and procedures for handling client submitted field replicates and standards. These client materials are handled as routine samples unless otherwise specified by the client and are submitted for the purpose of:

  • Confirming that our laboratories are producing an acceptable level of quality
  • Providing necessary information to calculate the overall precision and accuracy of the sampling program in order to pass routine 3rd party audits required to be compliant with national regulations.
